To the mind that has been running around trying to accomplish every thought that enters, Whitney Houston's music is a godsend. Specifically, my ears perked up when I heard her 1985 hit 
You Give Good Love today. These timeless lyrics explained exactly how I was feeling...Always on the run
I've been looking for someone

And you know just what I need
It took some time for me to see
Whitney's voice really shines on this old school jam and the energy she conveys is quite soulful. Her smooth groove has me on cloud nine again with my hubby. Marriage is work ya'll and although Whitney's isn't working out when you have songs like
Saving All My Love For You, All The Man That I Need, and All At Once to name a few, I can't help but to reminisce and appreciate the love that I have had for the last twelve years. A man that puts up with my crazy mood swings and my late night novel writing when other 'issues' are more important. In fact, another song that helped bring it all home was Run To You off The Bodyguard Soundtrack. Sweet cheeks, this song is my quintessential theme song when I'm feeling the pressures of life, especially that part when Whitney says...Of someone always in control

Tell me what does it mean?
Man, I kid you not, that verse speaks volumes to me. Having all your desires come to fruition means nothing if you have no one to share all the joy with. Granted we have
